For you, it may be making the time to bake cookies or bingeing on Hallmark movies. Maybe it’s having a coffee with an old friend or going Christmas caroling.

This is the perfect time to get creative with your time and energy and reflect on the closing year. What did you achieve creatively in 2022 that brought you joy and what are you goals for 2023?

My very first article for Healthcare Business Today asked the question of readers, are you a creative? Let’s hope if you weren’t sure that the year of 2022 helped change your mind.

You still have some time in the holiday season to make creativity count and here are a few ways, tried and true, that can definitely spark your creativity.

KINDNESS AND COMPASSION is a way that is heartwarming and especially appreciated at this time of year. Is there an organization close to your heart or a community event you can participate in before the close of the year? This is not only a gift to others, but a gift to yourself.

THE ARTIST DATE is a wonderful way to spend time time with yourself, feeding your creative soul. This is an opportunity to do something for yourself that inspires and uplifts you. Better yet, treat yourself to the amazing book The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron and see what evolves for you creatively.
