There’s No Me In Team

Updated on August 14, 2023

I am a collaborator at heart. Over the years, I’ve loved sharing my ideas with cowriters and artists. It’s one of the best parts of being a creative, in my opinion.

Since I have started contributing articles, I have had some interesting creative opportunities come into my life.

As the VP of the Nashville indie label, LuckySky Music, I get to brainstorm ideas with artists, writers, and the rest of our team and then eventually make some of those ideas come to life.

Do you find yourself in a lot of collaborative situations? Maybe you get to collaborate with a team at your job or you are in a meet up group that is focused on one of your favorite hobbies

Recently I began hosting free events on Zoom called Spark Your Creativity. I wanted to connect creatives and help them expand their circle.

Collaboration creates a positive energy. Most collaborative situations I’ve experienced left me with a positive, inspired feeling.

Collaboration…common goal

What does collaboration allow?

Encouragement

Empowers communication

Creativity

Exchange of ideas

Helps you become a better listener

Opens your heart and mind to others’ ideas

Gives you opportunity to meet other people and creates 6 degrees of separation

Positivity

Builds trust in a back and forth environment, that you can share your ideas and vice versa…

Collaboration can lead to great success. I hope you will seek out ways to

find others who want to share creative ideas and you get into a flow.

Check out my podcast, Kirsticast and meet entrepreneurial leaders who are also my guests. On each show, I welcome a guest who is a creativity sparker and inspires me with their story. You can watch my podcast on my Kirsticast YouTube channel or stream it anywhere you listen to podcasts.

Hope you enjoyed this article, I would love to hear from you.
