The Obese Kid
Before all the success, Stephen was not a happy guy. He was battling depression and other lifestyle-caused health issues like any other obese person. All he wished for was a better and healthier life. Most people today do not take the weight issue seriously until they are way older and unhealthy. There is no saying the number of lifestyle diseases to which an obese person is predisposed.
At 14, Stephen met a girl that he liked, and it led him to want to look better. With the weight, he was scared to approach girls or even take off his shirt in the boy’s locker room. He knew he had to change for the better.
Falling in Love With the Gym
By the time Stephen was getting into high school, he had gotten tired of everything his weight was putting him through. The then-teenager felt sick and tired of how he looked, but what he did next is what most people struggle with most. He decided to take action. Many prefer to do nothing in situations like those, and thus getting deeper into their ordeal. Pursuing better health and image started a series of events that led Stephen to where he is today. It marked the start of a new path for him.
After assuming exercise, Stephen loved watching how his body was responding. He watched his transformation week after week. That experience sparked an interest in learning everything about the human body, nutrition, and weight training. Stephen fell in love with the gym and its atmosphere. He even took up a job, his first, as a cleaning boy at Gold’s Gym. The personal trainers and bodybuilders there taught him a lot about fitness. Stephen lost 100lbs, and fitness became his passion.
Turning His Love into a Business
Stephen went to college and got his Bachelor’s degree in Business. That led him to get a typical nine to five job. That went on for two years, and he did not like it one bit. He felt miserable every day; that life was not for him. Unfortunately, his mother got diagnosed with stage four cancer at only 52, leading him to realize how short and unpredictable life is. He also had to spend more time with her rather than spend eight hours in a cubicle. Consequently, he left the office job and took up a fitness training job his friend offered him at a prominent country club.
At the country club, Stephen trained high profile CEOs and celebrities. It was around this time that his mother passed away, and he watched as it happened. Everything changed from then on. He started sharing his knowledge about fitness on social media. Something he started just for fun and helping others gradually gained him some following online. People started asking if he did coaching or programs that he could sell. That led to him creating his first fat loss program. Things took off from there, and he left his training job to run an online fitness business full time.
Now with his Instagram account with 198,000 followers, he is helping people transform their bodies naturally in 12 weeks. In a short amount of time, he has helped thousands around the world reach their fitness goals, and his client transformations are some of the most impressive globally.
