Business Group on Health, the preeminent health and well-being association representing employers, named Brendon Perkins, senior vice president for Global Total Rewards and People Partnering at Nielsen, as chair of its board of directors.
Perkins joined the Business Group’s board in 2018 and has served on its executive committee, including most recently chairing the finance committee. He has 25 years of broad experience in health care, global benefits, well-being, retirement plans and compensation. He has led total rewards for many of his 15 years at Nielsen, recently assuming responsibility for local onsite people support in nearly 50 countries, employee and labor relations, the people components of mergers and acquisitions, and human resources compliance.
Prior to joining Nielsen, Perkins was a principal at Mercer in their Health and Benefits business. He also serves on the board of directors for the Emergency Assistance Foundation, Inc.
