To Juul or Not to Juul?
A Juul is a nifty device that can give you a nicotine hit instantly. However, if you know about the device, you must have heard of the Juul lawsuit. There isn’t enough information to determine how safe a Juul or vaping in general is for your health but people have gotten sued over it. If you find yourself involved in such a lawsuit, lawyer up immediately and claim damages!
Vaping is Not Risk-free!
Although these gadgets are generally agreed to be less dangerous than actual cigarettes, there is no proof that they are actually safe. They can lead to a bunch of conditions such as:
- Brain, heart and lung damage
- Cancerous tumors
- Premature childbirth and stillbirths
- Harmful effects on the brain and lungs
Nicotine is Still an Addictive Chemical

Vaping Doesn’t Necessarily Help You Quit Smoking
E-Cigarettes and other vaporizing devices would be a preferable alternative to traditional cigarettes when used solely as a replacement and only among smokers who were unable to quit smoking using tested, medically approved methods. There is little evidence, however, that they minimize cigarette smoking effectively or contribute to a cessation of smoking.
What’s worse is, the nicotine used in e-cigarettes and other vaping items can potentially reinforce addiction, often making stopping smoking much harder.
Nicotine Specifically Harms Teens
Young people, i.e. teenagers, are especially vulnerable to the use of and the effects of e-cigarettes and vaping devices. The younger a person is, the greater the risk of addiction when he or she tries nicotine. The brain that develops is more vulnerable to the effects of addictive substances than an adult fully developed brain. In addition, nicotine can impair brain development, interfere with long-term cognitive functioning, and later in life increase the risk of multiple mental and physical health issues.
Vape Flavors Are Not FDA Approved
Federal oversight over e-cigarettes and other vaping devices is limited, making it difficult to assess the hazards of any particular product. The nature and concentration of the ingredients, including nicotine and other known toxins, vary considerably across products. What’s more, vape flavors don’t often have the ingredients listed clearly. This means you have no idea what you’re putting in your body. This should only encourage you to be more cautious of these chemicals before you get addicted to them!
