As the conversation around wellness, food quality, and healthcare in America grows louder, Liquivida® and its founder, Sam Tejada, are standing at the forefront—helping to spark awareness, drive change, and build bridges between ideologies. Recently, Liquivida was invited to participate in two powerful events hosted by the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement: the MAHA Spring Gala in Jupiter, Florida and the red-carpet premiere of the explosive new documentary Toxic Nation in Austin.
Both events brought together a growing coalition of health leaders, researchers, parents, policy advocates, and wellness entrepreneurs—united by one core belief: America deserves better. Better healthcare. Better food. Better wellness education. And most importantly, better outcomes for future generations.
Shedding Light on America’s Health Crisis at the Toxic Nation Premiere
Toxic Nation, produced by Jeff Hays and scheduled for free streaming online beginning May 27th, pulls back the curtain on how corporate influence—particularly from industries like Big Tobacco—has deeply infiltrated our food supply. The film makes a compelling case that after facing regulation in the tobacco space, these same companies moved into processed foods, creating addictive, ultra-processed products that have quietly undermined public health for decades.
Sam Tejada, who not only attended the premiere but actively contributed to the dialogue, interviewed several of the event’s most influential voices. These included Del Bigtree, the outspoken health advocate and host of The Highwire; Dave Asprey, known as the “Godfather of Biohacking”; and Jeff Hays, the film’s producer. The conversations centered on toxicity—not only in our food and water supply but also in our clothing, homes, and even medical practices.
“Toxicity is a root cause behind almost every chronic condition we’re seeing,” says Tejada. “From mold and plastic in our blood to hormone disruptors in our homes, this film isn’t just about sounding the alarm—it’s about giving people a blueprint for reclaiming their health.”
Crossing the Aisle for a Common Cause
While the MAHA movement has attracted attention for its bold claims and grassroots energy, Sam Tejada believes its potential lies in something far greater: unity.
“There’s a real opportunity here,” says Tejada. “To take a cause that transcends politics and bring people together on common ground. No matter where you fall on the political spectrum, we can all agree that we want our children healthy, our food clean, and our healthcare effective. We’re the United States—we should be leading the world in wellness, not falling behind.”
That sentiment, which echoed throughout the red carpet premiere, was equally expressed just days earlier, during the MAHA Spring Gala in Jupiter, Florida, where Liquivida’s leadership team, including Tejada and Dr. Christopher Davis, Chief Medical Officer, participated in intimate roundtable sessions with some of the nation’s leading voices in integrative health and legislative reform.
The roundtable format allowed participants to rotate between groups every 10 minutes, fostering direct, candid conversations about the changes Americans want to see—everything from more transparent labeling laws to improved school lunch programs and access to functional medicine.
“This wasn’t just about networking—it was about being heard and hearing others,” said Dr. Davis. “We got to speak on behalf of Liquivida’s mission, learn from the movement’s thought leaders, and connect the dots between what’s happening in Washington, what’s happening in wellness, and what people on the ground actually need.”
Liquivida’s Role in the Future of Wellness
Liquivida, long known for its innovative approach to preventative and functional medicine, continues to gain visibility as a national wellness brand advocating for real, accessible health solutions. Through IV vitamin therapy, advanced lab testing, hormone optimization, and medical-grade wellness programs, Liquivida empowers clients to take control of their health—often reversing conditions that stem from poor nutrition, chronic inflammation, and toxic exposure.
“Our mission has always been to educate and elevate,” says Tejada. “These MAHA events gave us a platform to do that on a larger scale and be part of a conversation that’s not only overdue—but critical.”
As the MAHA movement continues to grow and Toxic Nation begins reaching a wider audience, Liquivida’s leadership is committed to keeping wellness at the center of the national conversation—without divisiveness, without judgment, and with the understanding that lasting change starts when we come together for a cause bigger than ourselves.
