Forum to offer world-class keynote speakers and valuable access to industry thought leaders from Dec. 10 to 12 in Scottsdale, Arizona
The Population Health Alliance (PHA), a global trade association of the population health industry, announced detailed information today about the organization’s PHA Forum 2014, the nation’s largest and most diverse gathering of population health professionals. The event, which will take place at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona, from Dec. 10 to 12, is set to provide a wide array of in-depth information and valuable networking opportunities for hundreds of attendees from across the globe.
Online registration for the three-day event is open until Dec. 6 at www.populationhealthalliance.org/forum.
Continuing the event’s tradition of providing thought-provoking presentations from the industry’s most respected thought leaders, the PHA Forum 2014 will offer four keynote speakers, including:
- Esther Dyson, founder of HICCup and chairman of EDventure Holdings
- William Emmet, executive director of The Kennedy Forum
- David B. Nash, M.D., MBA, founding dean of the Jefferson School of Population Health
- Kaveh Safavi, M.D., J.D., global managing director, health industry for Accenture
In addition to the keynote speakers and a wide range of networking opportunities throughout the three-day event, the PHA Forum will offer four unique tracks of educational sessions, offering valuable insights into proven processes and procedures developed by leading professionals in the population health field. The four tracks include “Analytics to Action for Providers and ACOs,” “Excelling in Engagement,” “Powerful PHM Strategies,” and “Tech Touch: Strategies for Apps in Health.”
“The PHA Forum serves as an opportunity for a variety of stakeholders in the population health management ecosystem to come together in a collaborative environment to advance their shared pursuit of achieving better care, improved medical outcomes and reduced costs,” said PHA Executive Director Fred Goldstein. “The PHA Forum provides attendees with access to detailed, practical information related to virtually every facet of successful population health programs and innovations.”
In an effort to provide the most informative and dynamic educational programs, the PHA issued a call for educational proposals earlier this year and utilized a peer-reviewed selection process to determine the strongest sessions for each track. The organization received approximately 70 proposals before selecting the event’s 16 educational sessions this year.
The PHA Forum 2014 will serve as a venue for a number of high-profile industry gatherings. Designed as its own conference track specifically for health care executives, the PHA Forum 2014 Executive Leadership Institute will promote discussions, networking and agenda-setting among industry leaders.
The forum will also include the Fourth International Symposium on Wellness and Chronic Care. This symposium will explore the competitive global marketplace for wellness and care management while delivering practical strategies that apply across diverse care settings.
In addition, the forum will offer a separate institute for employers, human resources managers and benefit administrators. The Workplace Healthcare and Benefits Institute will provide attendees with a solid basis to assess their wellness programs. The institute will offer a review of core metrics, engagement strategies, and comparisons of emerging and existing trends in wellness, incentives and more.
