About the author

Lori C. Marshall, PhD, MSN, RN, is administrator of patient family education and resources at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). Aside from her role at CHLA, she is assistant adjunct professor at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Nursing and assistant professor at the Sol Price School of Public Policy and Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. Marshall has more than 39 years of experience in healthcare, with a background in home health agencies and outpatient clinics. She is a frequent speaker on teams, teamwork, and PFE at the national and international level.
